Stottlemyre, Baylor staring down Multiple Myeloma
Mel Stottlemyre Sr. and Don Baylor are the fortunate ones. Both these career baseball men were treated for Multiple Myeloma, an incurable cancer that attacks the production of plasma in the blood system. Both have far exceeded the mean prognosis of five years living with the disease.
